backpp Camping the Undead Crusader in Kurn's Tower

This camp is great experience from level 12 to level 16, at level 12 you should be a three person group, from 14 or 15 on 2 people is enough.

gp Getting to the camp:

If you have a Necro it's easy, just cast IVU on everyone and walk there. There are no Digdugs on the way so nothing sees through IVU. If you don't have a Necro proceed as follows:

Have your puller get the skellies at the entrance of Kurns, kill them. Then move the group to the stairs up (on the left from where you enter). Single pull the skels at the bottom of the stairs and quickly finish them there, fight the last skel on the stairs. On the stairs is a good place to rest should you need to regain mana. Then move up the stairs to the second floor, stay to the right.

Pull skellies in your way, single. With a good group of 3 you can even handle lesser Icebones, although they con red. Once the way is clear move to the other side of the room, the stairs up are to the right. Note the balcony, in case you ever have to run jump down here, does about 60 points of damage to non-monks but you will be right at the zone and have lost all following mobs.

Now move up the stairs, past the landing of the third floor to the bend between 3rd and fourth floor. There is one wanderer here that spawns every 18 minutes, the only thing that will aggro on you here. Kill the wanderer and set up camp here.

gp At the camp:

That wanderer is one Placeholder for the undead crusader, should he pop here he will be right on top of you. Now have your puller pull away, with preference to all moving mobs on the third floor. Two more PHers for the crusader are wanderes on the third floor. If you have a warrior, you might also want to keep the dining room (on the fourth floor to the left) clear, as an odd mole with a no drop item they need for a warrior quest pops there.

There are at least 20 pops in the vicinity to pull from, we pulled singles 99% of the time. All blue to low red to you at 12, all blue with a few exp giving greens at 16 (except for the occasinal very green-to-all scalebone that is in the way).

You easily make at least a bubble of exp an hour here, I got from 12 to 17 in about 20 hours of camping this spot exclusivly. No deaths at all (except for one monk who told me not to heal him as he wanted to practise bind wounds, the fool).

Alas now I am too high to get good exp here and I still need the rare drop of the undead crusader for a quest - the Iksar Skull with an 'X' (LORE). So if you take my advice and do this great camp with your baby Iksar and happen across the Skull, please save it for Shakasta :) Its not no drop!

[Update: Shakasta has found her Skull with an X - LORE, and was really happy to have solved that quest. Camp spot is open now!]
