First Camps in Velious

We got a port to Iceclad and ran through to Thurgadin to bind without problems, all were level 34. Then we set out to discover camps.

Camp

Loot

Great Divide - Tizmaks:

Any of the three cave entrances near point 1 on the eqatlas map of Great Divide, the northernmost seems best.
Very easy camp with our group of four, start to turn green at 35. Drop no money, some pieces of Tizmak Armor (stats like banded but lighter, went to our twinks). Very safe camp, but we were a little high at 34, exp not overwhelming. The two Cured Tizmak Surcoats we found went to our druid alts. Inside the middle cave entrance, just at the tunnel to the first cave, we met a large named tizmak. He was tough but manageable and dropped a nice mace.

Looks pretty when worn too, blue with gems on the edges.

This is the mace from Yaka Somethinghoof.
Great Divide - Bears:

Any cave entrance near point 6, the southernmost is best. No monetary  loot. One bear to drop good loot is the named Icetooth (level 38). He has a very nice claw. When we tried him alone our wizard died, second time we had two level 40 warriors along and he was easy. Good exp and fairly safe but very often camped.

Went to our warrior Wantur and he is using it.

Found this on a ferocious Kodiak after killing about 30 of them.
Great Divide - Frost Giants:

We set up camp near the zone border to Eastern Wastes, lots of giants there and zone is close in case we need to run. Scouts conned blue to yellow and we could take them down without problems. We tried a yellow berserker when a 35 bard was along and three died, so we avoided them since. Those berserkers do more damage than Shak can heal. Good steady experience, the giants drop toes and heads for the Coldain prayer shawl quests, did quest 1 and 2 twice with the stuff from camping them about 10 hours. Also drop money, Velium weapons, an occasional Drakkel forged weapon, Frost Giant Beards and the Icegrinder on the right, we found once. They also drop Giant Helmets we didn't realize were for a faction quest and sold, alas. Found 2 helmets. Every now and then a Drakkel Dire Wolf comes along, all blue and easy kills. Often camped by high levels that want coldain faction, but enough giants for everyone.

We want to sell or trade away the Grinder, if interested send Shakasta a tell or email.

Not really sure what to do with those weapons, a sword with similar stats dropped too.
Eastern Wastes - Zone Border to GD:

We camped there a bit to get a hang of the zone. Quite a few blue to yellow wanderers, but pulling is a bit slow. Stayed about 2 hours and found three frozen mantles  and two Rings of Frost and the necklace to the right, all of Dervishes as far as I can remember. Also got Tundra Kodiak meat for the third coldain prayer shawl quest. Had to zone twice cause red manticores attacked.

Not too bad for our druids....

Issly is wearing this now, for some reason he likes it.
Eastern Wastes - Ulthorks:

Lots of those walrusses near spot 2 on eqatlas map, constant pulls, blue to yellow. Arguably best experience spot we found. Loot is some money and lots of Ulthork Gloves and Skullcaps and Walrus tooths, no other pieces of Ulthork Armor dropped so far. We also found three Ulthork tusks, which we are gonna keep as they are for a quest in Cobalt Scar. In the camp, Frost Giants and Ry'Gorr lookouts also spawn, so we pulled those on occasion.

We found so much of this stuff we sold it to vendors.

Not too bad a weapon and drops very often, about one in ten or so.

Nice earring for our warrior of a Ry'Gorr Lookout.
